Truckin' on - Jackson

I wanted to share this with you and show you something I have been doing while in lockdown. We finished this Lego truck the other night. It is a pretty cool truck as this is the type of truck and swing lifter that my Dad uses to transport containers. I built most of it and McKenzie helped me a little bit. It was a big project and at the end Mum said I should do a reflection on it. She asked me what did you learn from doing this project Jackson and how could you do better next time?
I did sometimes get frustrated and a little bit grumpy when I found it quite hard at times. Mum would tell me that I was doing an awesome job because I was doing an 11 to 16-year-olds Lego set. She would tell me to walk away, calm down and leave it for now and come back to it later. So that is one thing I did learn and need to get better at next time.
But I did really love doing it and was really pleased with myself and the result at the end.

  1. Fantastic work Jackson (and your family). I'm glad you took the time to reflect. It is how you learn to do things differently the next time. Putting that together would have been a HUGE job so taking breaks was a good strategy. Ka rawe!
